Delivery hours and service times
When does Purple Airways start and stop delivering?
We generally make deliveries from 8 AM to 8 PM, Monday-Friday; and on Saturday and Sunday for residential deliveries. If you got a message that says Purple Airways will deliver your package by end of day, that means your package should arrive before 8 PM on the delivery date.
What are Purple Airways store hours?
Global Logistics store hours, including openings and closings for holidays and local restrictions related to COVID-19.
If I get a message that says my package is in transit?
In transit means that your package is on its way to its final destination. It does not necessarily mean that your package is in a moving vehicle such as an aircraft or truck. It may be at a Purple Airways facility.
If I get a message that says my package is out for delivery?
Out for delivery means that your package was scanned by a package handler and placed onto a pallet to be loaded onto a Global Logistics truck for delivery. You can check the estimated time window your package will be delivered online, helping make planning around your delivery easy.
If I get a message that says there is no scheduled delivery date at this time?
No scheduled delivery date at this time means estimated delivery date may not be available at this time or that Global Logistics does not have the package in its possession yet. When a shipment encounters a delay or an exception in handling, we may not be able to accurately state when we expect the package to be delivered. Delivery commitment changes based on the type of delays and our effort to lessen the delay.
If I get a message that says my scheduled delivery is now pending?
Scheduled delivery is now pending means that every effort is being made to deliver your package as soon as possible. Delivery commitments change based on the type of delay and our effort to mitigate the delay. Please continue to use your tracking number to access the most up-to-date information regarding your package. If I get a message that says delivery exception?
Delivery exception means that an unexpected event is preventing delivery of your package. Some examples of delivery exceptions include a customs delay, holiday closure impacts, missing documentation or other situations. My package or shipment not moving?
Shipments receive updates at various points in their journeys between pickup and delivery. The frequency of scans varies, and it is not unusual for a shipment to go more than 24 hours without an update on its way, especially during periods of long travel.
